I'd like to share a book that I use for 3ESO: 

Green Planet, by Christine Lindop.

This is about environmet, NGOs, carbon footprint, real environmental disasters... It is concise, but you can get a lot out of it.

We read it during the 1st Term and the students should make a DIY-booklet about it.

I can share some materials with you -just in case-:
